Somehow Geralds ISP managed to keep sending me the same message once every 5 minutes, for 8 days in a row !!!……. on the bright side…. Looks like everything is ready on the Austrian End of things.

Greetings all. First I have to thank a bunch of people- the organizers especially Grey Sage and Lou for organising the tourney. And also those locals who lent me an army- Not often can one show up at a tourney with a total of six models (Empire Halflings) and play 7 game as Dark Elves.

EuroGT Bad Vöslau.
So it was going to happen. A very large car drove op to me an Lex Emerged from behind the wheel. We then waited for a little while, as Remi wanted to make a walk around the block before starting.
Then we were on our way.
The trip was rather smooth, until we passed Nürnberg. Then the "baustellen" started, but the hindrance was kept to a minimum. We arrived in Bad Vöslau and then someone asked carefully: "Anybody got Sia's address... perhaps... ?"

Wow...
I can hardly imagine that getting into Gray Sage's car was only last Friday... The second Direwolf (and other lists) Get Together in Europe has proven to provide an excellent weekend! I'll keep it short because I'm still suffering from a whole weekend of sleep deprivation :)

Many of the recently arrived clientele spoke of grandeur and treasures, whereas the Inn's patrons warned about the perils that lure in the distant and uncharted areas of Mordheim. However the ale flowed richly and with each mouthful the courage grew, and the still unfound riches were already spend...

Some of you might be interested in my impressions of the EuroGT and so here they are :-)
IN SHORT
It was one of the greatest weekends of Gaming and Fun I have ever had in my life. Meeting all the people I only knew from the list in Real Life(tm) was great fun and the atmosphere throughout the weekend was so friendly and good that I felt truly sad saying goodbye on Sunday.

The weekend has been great! I have never seen this many people enjoying their favourite games in one room at the same time... Sure it was a tournament, but competitivness was easily surpassed by the enjoyment of all listees playing and marshalling here...
